Our History

1933

Founded Mikuni Steel Strip MFG. Co., Ltd. with a capital of 30,000 yen as a limited partnership
Started manufacturing carbon steel cold rolled strips

1937

Reorganized into a joint-stock company

1941

Started manufacturing cold rolled stainless steel strips.

1973

Became an affiliated company of Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co.,
Ltd.
Increased capital to 75 million yen.

1981

Changed company name to NAS STAINLESS STEEL STRIP MFG.CO.,LTD.
Increased capital to 150 million yen
Moved plant to Shiga prefecture

1985

Increased capital to 300 million yen.
Increased capital to 480 million yen.

1986

Completed second-phase expansion of Shiga plant

1995

Completed third-phase expansion of Shiga plant

1998

Increased capital to 681.6 million yen

2001

Shiga plant received ISO 14001 certification

2003

Received ISO 9001 certification
